Greetings from the Anglican Diocese of South Rwenzori, Church of Uganda!
Who we are
South Rwenzori Diocese represents the Anglican Church of Uganda in Kasese District. It was carved from Ruwenzori Diocese on 26th August, 1984 and is now made up of 13 archdeaconries, 84 parishes, and 558+ local congregations. Our current bishop is the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku.

Where we are
The diocese is located in the Southwest of Uganda and covers the same area as Kasese District. To the south is Lake Edward and to the west is the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We are found in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains and the lowlands of the Western Rift Valley. At the foot of the mountains is Kasese Town, the administrative centre for the district.

Mission
To win people to Jesus Christ for a better life through preaching and teaching the Good News
