The Archbishop paid a courtesy visit to St. Paul’s Vocational Secondary School to lay foundation stones on the Boys’ and the Girls’ Hostels respectively. They have officially been names SRD Jesus Reigns Boys’ Hostel and SRD Amazing Grace Girls’ Hostel respectively. He also laid another foundation stone at the school’s Multipurpose Hall.
Shortly after commissioning the Hostels and the School’s Multipurpose Hall, Archbishop Kaziimba asked the learners to stay focused and avoid being diverted from the main purpose of education. He also asked them to always remember what they learnt and that Education was their future therefore they Must guard it jealously as stated in Proverbs 4:13.
During his visit, the Archbishop also officiated the Ground Breaking ceremony for the construction of the Main Library at the school for a convenient study environment.
His Grace hailed South Rwenzori Diocese under the leadership of the Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku for the steady development stating that his heart has been filled with joy witnessing all those developments after his first visit in 2023.
he described the Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese for his ability to mobilize resources that have aided the construction of seven buildings from ONE they had when he visited the area for the time in 2023.
He described Bishop Baluku as a Passionate man about writing award proposals especially in the sectors of education, health and economic transformation.
“It feel proud that my FIRST BORN Bishop Nason Baluku is doing a wonderful job of spiritual and economic transformation in South Rwenzori Diocese. His name Baluku means First Born. He was the first Bishop i consecrated on December 13th, 2020 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Kasese.” the Archbishop Kaziimba stated.
His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu paid a visit to the school as he was in the South Rwenzori Diocese, Kasese District to officiate the inauguration of Uganda Christian University, Kagando University College at Kagando Rural Development Centre – KARUDEC in Kisinga Town Council as well as witnessing the graduation of 504 students of Kagando School Nursing and Midwifery who graduated in different disciplines.
The function that was attended by different dignitaries was held on April 04, 2025 at Kagando Hospital Playground in Kisinga Town Council. On the same day, Kagando Hospital was also celebrating her 60-years in existence and service to the people.
