This was not the only achievement South Rwenzori Diocese achieved last year 2024.

In December, two Christians including Mr. Francis Pokopoko of Rusese in Mpondwe – Lhubiriha Town Council who donated land where he had constructed church and a Lay reader’s house and Mr. Yonasan Muhindo of Rwesororo in Kisinga Sub County who also donated land with some buildings.

Mr. Pokopoko said he decided to put up shelter for the people of God to worship since he no longer has the energy to walk to Kyempara Parish Headquarters. While Mr. Yonasan Muhindo said he gave land to the church as a tithe of what the Lord has blessed him with.
