Addressing the congregation at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Kamaiba Hill, Kasese Town, the Archbishop encouraged the parents to give attention to their boy children the way they do to their girls. He said a society with only well groomed and nurtured women is nothing and disorganized without well mannered men.
During his visit that started on September 21 to 24, 2023, he performed a variety of activities including Commissioning a Maternity Ward at Rwesande Health Centre IV in Rwesande Archdeaconry, a Theatre and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Nyabugando Health Centre III in Lhubiriha Archdeaconry, a Children’s church at St. Luke’s Kigoror Church of Uganda in Kasese Archdeaconry, a magnificent building at Kagando School of Nursing and Midwifery that will accommodate Uganda Christian University – Kagando University College that is to start operate early 2024, blessing a Cassava demonstration garden at Rwentutu Church of Uganda Parish to fight food security and commissioning a school building at Rwentutu parish in Kyarumba Archdeaconry.
